For All Things Living

In the summer of 2012 in partnership with Safari West Foundation, we will demonstrate some of the possibilities of mobile architecture. The Wildfarm Foundation will promote an event around the installation of a mobile facility at the Safari West Wildlife Preserve. The building will serve as a place where people interested in sustainable building and mobile architecture can learn about the methods developed by industry leaders. During the summer, the installation will be used by Safari West's Junior Keepers and Discover Africa Programs. At the end of the summer the entire building will be packed and relocated to the Dominican Republic for use as an educational facility.

Education in the Land of Orchids

The Wild Farm Foundation is proud to announce that the building originally installed at Safari West will have a permanent home in the Dominican Republic. The facility will serve as a 100 student school and a remarkable example of versatility in mobile architecture. Our efforts in the Dominican Republic have garnered considerable support from the Dominican Government, as well as groups in Venezuela, Mexico, and the US.

The Mobile Communities Project

Movable living space represents a major opportunity for the Wildfarm Foundation and Universal Structure. The building systems innovated by Universal Structure could have an enormous impact on the way mobile communities are built and maintained. With this goal in mind, we are currently seeking key parcels of land zoned for mobile construction which will be developed using sustainable methods and a re-imagined model for the modern mobile community.
